Self-publishing is much easier than hoping and trying to get noticed by a faceless and impersonal publisher.  At traditional book publishing houses, the author, if a book is selected, often gives up creative control and even rights to the material. 

By choosing Working Title Publishing, you are in control. You create your own publishing package by choosing which of the services we offer that you want to use. 

With Working Title Publishing, you retain all rights to your hard work as well as editing and creative control over your work.

Copies of your book will be available for purchase through most bookstores and Internet booksellers, including  major retail outlets such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com.

What is the process of publishing your book?  We'll give you a "road map" and provide support all along the way.

Send us your completed, quality manuscript.  A quality manuscript is one that, to the author's best ability, has been reviewed for grammar, spelling and punctuation and in which indexes, art, graphics, maps, tables and other supporting material can be easily adapted by us to our printer's specifications.  In other words, your book is nearly print-ready.

You can send us your manuscript by using the link below, in a digital format as an email attachment or by mail on a CD.  If mailing, please create the document in a common word processing program, such as Microsoft Word for Windows. 

Here at Working Title Publishing, you'll find the artistic talent to create a striking book cover that will stand out among others. We can base the design on your concept of what you want the cover of your book to look like, or if you prefer, we can use our ideas.  We can also provide interior illustrations and you'll find proofreading and editing services, as well as the technical knowledge to turn your manuscript into a bookstore-quality book.

Your book will be published in a format and quality that equals best-sellers.  We offer formatting in a variety of book sizes.  These sizes, in soft cover, are 5x8, 5.5x8.5, 6x9, 7.5 x 10.25 and 8.5x11.  Sizes for hardcover books, with a dust jacket, are 5.5x8.5 or 6x9. Also available are textbook-style laminated hardcover bindings.

All books are printed with full-color, glossy laminated covers and the inside pages are printed on high-quality acid-free paper, with graphics and photos in shades of gray.  We also now offer interior images in color.  You may supply your art work or we can create suitable art to enhance the text.

You'll review the first draft, make any changes you want and then review the subsequent draft(s).  Once you've approved the final version, your book will go into our printer's production schedule.  Your book is electronically cataloged by our printer, enabling copies to be printed at any time of your choosing and in any quantity.  While we can't make projections as to how well your book will sell, we can offer marketing suggestions to increase sales opportunities.

The list price of the book must cover the cost of publication and allow a discount to be provided to distributors that  sell to bookstores and on the Internet.  Royalties paid to you are 50% of the remainder and are paid quarterly.
